Training

Sea-Bird offers regularly scheduled four-day training classes approximately two times per year at an off-site location near our factory/office in Bellevue, Washington (12 miles from downtown Seattle). Training consists of comprehensive operator training on major Sea-Bird products and software, and is hands-on in nature. The curriculum covers profiling instruments and thermosalinographs (days 1-3), and moored instruments (day 4)*. The three days of profiling material cover important fundamentals that apply to the other products and applications; we strongly recommend that you attend these days, even if your main interest is not profiling instruments.

* Note: Starting with our April 2007 class, day 4 will also cover maintenance and repair topics related to both profiling and moored instruments, such as care and replacement of o-rings and bulkhead connectors, pump maintenance, etc.
